Lifeline Connect centre Clare

Lifeline Connect Clare provides an early intervention model for suicide prevention. This is the first Connect Centre in South Australia. We provide a one-stop friendly and accessible centre aimed at improving social, emotional and psychological well-being by supporting people to connect with local services and community organisations and assisting with practical tasks. We achieve this by having a team of trained volunteers who are passionate about supporting anyone experiencing difficulties or crisis. We have trained counsellors who are able to provide free counselling sessions with no requirement for a referral or mental health plan, walk-ins are very welcome. We also offer community training in suicide awareness and prevention.

We are a new service established in April 2021, and very passionate about connecting with the community to raise awareness of mental health and suicide and to work towards the Lifeline Mission of a Suicide free Australia. We are delighted to take part in the Clare Autumn Garden festival to connect the community with supports and information for them and their families.
